Robert showed us what it means to be a Christian. This faith helped us all to recognise that whatever tragedy might befall us in our lives, we have the assurance that we don't have to face them on our own. Robert was a kind and generous man. He always was interested in me as a person ,Tina, not just as the vicar's wife! He was willing to take me out in his boat in spite of my lack of confidence on the water which was brave of him!
