A fond farewell to a wonderful and kind uncle. I have lovely childhood memories of family meals at Winchelsea Rise and Elm Close, Warlingham and later, Brockenhurst. I also remember a lovely day sailing to the Isle of Wight with Jenny and Tom. Thank you for that - so far, my only experience of both sailing, and the Isle of Wight ! You had a zest for life, enjoying riding, travel, sailing, and of course, the odd glass of whisky ! Most of all, I remember good-natured 'discussions' between you and Mum at family gatherings. Great entertainment and an education for us all. You will be missed.
